Born in Canada’s Rocky Mountain province of Alberta, La Lapine takes everyday inspiration from its beautiful, sometimes frigid surroundings.
Canada's majestic snow-capped mountains, treacherous winter blizzards, and captivating wildlife inspired a vision for a chic, winter wonderland, animal-friendly & cruelty free line of coats, cloaks and other cold weather essentials.
La Lapine was created to blur the line between après-ski and city chic. We want our clients to sip their cafe latte in style, whether it be at the base of the slopes at Sunshine Village Ski Resort, or in Canada’s biggest metropolitan city of Toronto.
We take pride in our Inclusive sizing, to fit the many wonderful shapes of women. And like the earliest entrepreneurs, women in the cottage industries who served their individual customer’s needs, we take pride in offering customization to satisfy every one of our clientele.
To create our animal friendly, cruelty free designs, we source only the finest, softest, silkiest, highest quality faux fur. We ensure no rough, thick, dull, or shaggy fur on any of our products.
Each garment is designed to compliment a woman’s unique body architecture, from the thoughtful design of garment length, to the placement of ties and ensuring each design arrives with a matching set of gloves. Many of our pieces are also designed to inspire different ways to wear them, for many different looks, for many different seasons & temperatures.
